Sec. 1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the “Stop Gang Violence Act”.

Sec. 2. Reporting on gang affiliation

Section 505(f) of title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (34 U.S.C. 10156(f)) is amended by inserting “and jurisdictions that include, as part of such reporting to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (including the National Gang Intelligence Center), information on offenses that are suspected to be gang-related” before the period.
